Andrew Kramer, PGA

Andrew (or Coach K as the kids like to call him) has been a class A certified PGA teaching professional since September of 2017.  He has been playing, working & teaching the game of golf here at Los Serranos Country Club since 1999. He currently holds the course record on the South course from “Jacks Blacks” tee markers with a score of 64 (-10).

He played 4 years of varsity golf at Ayala High School & received a scholarship to play 4 more years of collegiate golf at the University of La Verne where he received First Team All American Honors & his Business Degree in Management. 

He has traveled all around the world competing on a few professional tours such as the EPD Tour, Golden State Tour, & Pepsi Tour. He has 2 PGA section event wins & is currently ranked 5th in the “Omega Player of The Year” points for the Southern California PGA section.

Vinnie Bertagna, PGA

Vinnie has been a Class A certified PGA Teaching Professional since November 2017 and has been working as a Golf Coach since 2012 at Los Serranos Country Club.

He has worked with all ages and abilities. He currently works at an Indoor Golf Studio in Burbank, Ca with TRACKMAN technology to record Swing Data to create personalized lesson plans for every student.

His methods are simple but effective & aim to improve students by working with each individuals natural tendencies. Setup/Fundamentals & Fitness are his main priorities especially when working with beginners. This help them understand the importance of them from the beginning, before they become prone to injuries & create compensations leading to bad habits. 

Vinnie has been in the top 25 in "OMEGA Player of the Year" points in the Southern California PGA section for the past two years & is currently ranked 13th of 301 PGA members.

Justin Itzen

After watching Tiger Woods win the 1997 Masters. Justin knew professional golf was in his future. Justin grew up playing at Los Serranos Country Club and attended Citrus College where he was a two time MVP. 

 

Shortly after he qualified to play the PGA Canadian Tour in 2006, 2008, & 2010 seasons. Just also qualified for the Web.com Tour for the 2013-2014 season. Additionally, he has nine mini tour wins and qualified for the 2012 Northern Trust Open (PGA Tour Tournament). Justin either holds or has tied three-course records with 62, all in competition.

 

When he is not teaching FFGA, you can find him negotiating deals as one of the top Real Estate Consultants in the area. 

James Cadena

Coach James Cadena has been an instructor of Los Serranos Golf Club & Fast Forward Golf Academy for over 2 years! He has acquired the title PGA Associate through hard work & dedication to understand both the game of golf & the golf industry.
With a background in top tier hockey & competitive soccer; soccer both as player & coach. Coach James has developed a well rounded dynamic to develop talent through sound fundamentals & diverse

athletic techniques.

Coach James is always looking to learn new & better ways to instruct, develop, and to compete. Currently, Coach James is working closely with Ayala High Schools boys & girls developmental programs to prepare them for high school competition. Many of the students are FFGA grown!
